April 3013 Speaking Engagements

I have two events lined up for April 2013.  Come on out if you can.

SoCal .NET Architecture

Santa Ana, CA
Topic: Dependency Injection: A Practical Introduction

Dependency Injection (DI) seems to be a popular topic.  As with all of my sessions, we'll take a complex topic and break it down into easy-to-understand pieces.  At it's core, DI is just a set of design patterns, and basic implementation of the patterns isn't that hard.  Once we have those core concepts down, we're ready to let something else (like a DI container) do a lot of the work for us.  And since we understand what that work is, there's no mystery involved.

Desert Code Camp

Chandler, AZ
3 Sessions to choose from (or come to all 3)
o Clean Code: Homicidal Maniacs Read Code, Too
o Learn the Lingo: Design Patterns
o Dependency Injection: A Practical Introduction

Desert Code Camp is always a lot of fun -- this will be my 5th time.  There's a wide variety of topics on all sorts of technologies, lots of new people to meet, and they feed you throughout the day.  Plus, if you're in So Cal, it's a good excuse for a road trip.

Happy Coding!
